Originally from Edenton, N.C., Martin Parker spent most of his professional music career in Nashville, Tennessee. He played locally in garage bands with “Moon” in high school, as well as many other local musicians. Parker relocated to Nashville in the early 70’s to make it in the music scene. As luck would have it, he ended up performing with many great artists including Ricky Scaggs, Vince Gill, Earl Scruggs, Patti Loveless, and Allison Krauss, to name a few.
